M.Phil. Education Policy & Development (Regular)

M. Phil. Education Policy and Development is a two years Program. A candidate will take 24 credit hour work followed by 6 credit hour dissertation.

The language of instruction and dissertation is English.



MA/M.Sc./BS (Honors) degree or its equivalent in the relevant subject with 1st Division/CGPA not less than 2.5 from an HEC recognized university (at least 16 years of education), having not more than two second divisions in the academic career.


No 3rd division or ‘D’ grade in entire academic career.

HEC awardees under indigenous scholarship scheme are encouraged to apply.

                M.PHIL. EDUCATION POLICY AND DEVELOPMENT  (Replica/Self-Supporting)
M. phil. Sociology (Replica/Self-Supporting) has same program structure and entrance requirements as the M. Phil Sociology regular program.

However the order of the preference on the basis of year of passing the examination and age limit shall not be applied for this program. This program is offered in afternoon (1:00-5:00 p.m.) on self-support basis.
